Henford Hill Client - Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks

Task: To replace the ducting and cables across Henford Hill Bridge in Yeovil.

Logistically a challenge, coupled with a lack of maintenance to the structure made this a complicated project. The first stage was to clear the foliage growing from the structure, remove the old ducts and cables, which involved excavating two joint bays either side of the bridge.

The next stage was to attach new ducting to the bridge and pull through the new cables. The shape of the bridge required us to form bends in the ducting, a specialised job when you're using 150mm steel tube!
